Go see ur Family Doc: That small swelling on side of your neck could be caused by infection, swollen gland, cancer, scar, reaction to suture material, etc. Bottom line, rather than speculate, go see your Family Doc for examination. Also work w/your doc to optimize stroke risk factors, eg atrial fibrillation, blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar etc, to prevent 2nd one. And learn FAST acronym: http://goo.gl/2Q7GKE
