Usually: After giving a good history of allergic symptoms / situation, you get about 100 tiny needle pokes w/different antigens (things you might be allergic to). Then you sit and wait for several minutes. If you are allergic to something tested, will seem longer b/c will start to itch/swell in spot where stuck. Test read by size of reactions around each poke & allergist interprets +/- and goes over w/you.
