6 weeks post septoplasty/sinus widening/polyps removed. normal to feel inner ear popping/tickly sinuses, swelling after zpack/prednisone? worried!

That is normal: You are experiencing some ear eustachian tube congestion causing the ear popping . The tickly sensation in the sinuses is probably normal healing with some dryness. Make sure you are irrigating regularly with a neti pot or some other sinus irrigation system. If you are extremely concerned, see your surgeon again or call for advice.

Don't worry but call: Call your surgeon and let them know about your symptoms. You may have some persistent fluid in the ear (serous otitis media) which is not a major problem. However your surgeon should be notified for appropriate followup and care which may include a change in antibiotics, decongestants or imaging.
