Depends: Most viruses can be spread through droplets in the air. Others come from exposure to actual bugs in the feces. How does that happen....Not everyone washes their hands after wiping. Makes you want to wash more often, huh?!

Hygiene: Stomach bugs are passed from person to person. Good hand washing willl prevent the spread of infection.
