Possibly: Any infecton can make the body more prone to miscarry. A kidney infection ranks right up there, especially since the kidneys sit so close to the uterus and if they have a signficnat infection the entire area can get irritated, and that can lead to a miscarriage. Any infections during pregnancy need to be taken seriously for protection of both mom and baby.
