A member asked:

Had a miscarriage at 16 wks. wbc was 30 before i had him and then the next day it was normal. what type of infection could have caused this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May be none: Normal pregnancy can cause high WBC count, though usually not as high as 30. However, the quick resolution of the high count argues against an infection as the cause.
