Clear drippy nose: When the drippy discharge from your nose is present more than a week or two it is most likely due to allergies. Antibiotics are of no use for allergies. They treat bacterial infections, which generally cause secretions to turn yellow or green after a few days. Medications that help allergies include antihistamines, decongestants, nasalcrom, steroid nasal sprays and antihistamine sprays.
