Yes: Especially with diabetics, if you get blood pressures down to 115/75, it is very possible to improve kidney function. For instance, if a person has poor blood pressures and blood sugar contorl the amount of protien in the urine can be over 100 (should be less than 15). With control of pressures and sugars, this microalbumin can go back to normal.
