HTN CV disease: Yes, high blood pressure (Htn) can affect your heart and kidneys by placing to much stress on those organs. It is really unfortunate that you're hypertensive at at 41, and female. Please get checked by your PCP: you'll likely need a significant change in your lifestyle/diet, and (at least for the immediate future) some medication(s). Please be compliant.....
