Abnormal but common: Depends on where needles, catheters, devices were inserted. Depends on where endograft was "landed" ask your surgeon for details. Some hematoma s, seromas, and pseudo aneurysms can occur and need therapy or surgery.

Not really...: There may be some bruising and firmness from minor bleeding, but it also could be a pseudoaneuysm of the puncture site. You should see your surgeon who may order an ultrasound to further evaluate.

Depends on how much: There will be a small amount of swelling post op under the incision, and this should resolve in several weeks. If the swelling extends beyond the incision, or feels full underneath you may have a seroma or hematoma, both of which occur in small numbers of patients. Most of these resolve with no treatment. If you have any oozing, redness, or fevers you should call your vascular surgeon.
