Any that you CAN do.: Unless you are having a hypertensive emergency/crisis, hypertension by itself is not a contraindication to exercise. If you are seeing doc and your BP is under treatment/good range, you can do virtually anything you want--physically can do. Lightweight, aerobic exercises are somewhat better than heavy training alone, but combo is better than either. So, exercise to better health! good luck.

Combined training: As long as your blood pressure is fairly well controlled, starting a combined cardio and strength training program would be a beneficial to lower your blood pressure. Walking, elliptical, biking, obstacle course & interval training are some examples. Make sure to be cleared by your physician prior to starting if you are having any symptoms of chest pain, shortness of breath or irregular heartbeat.
