I visited lewis orthopaedics last year for a knee surgery. i am fine now, no complications ...do i need to get my knee checked regularly?

Maybe: If you had a knee replacement you should followup at regular intervals as outlined by your surgeon. If something like an arthroscopy for a meniscal tear then it is probably ok to simply follow up as needed.

See below: Depending upon the procedure performed usually a 1 to 2 year follow-up is necessary , especially for joint replacement surgery. Follow up with your previous treating orthopedic surgeon and they will provide you the follow-up schedule as necessary. Good luck thank you.
