Weeks: Azithromycin which is the drug that you are taking has a half life of around 70 hrs. That means that if you take 250mg of this tablet once, in 70 hrs you still will have 125 mgs remaining in your system and this is after you may as well say three days. But, you took it for five days so you can easily see that the medication will be around for awhile.
