Very unlikely: Beta blockers typically need to be taken regularly because they don't stay in your system long. Having taken atenolol should not affect your ability to get pregnant or the baby. But do monitor your bp.

Yes: Because these meds will interfere with the heart rhythm of baby they are not used during pregnancy. Other blood pressure medications are available that do not create fetal risk.Please make your doc aware of your situation & discuss any plans for childbirth with them.
