They are at least: Bioequivalent, as atenolol is the generic form of Tenormin. They do contain different binders, which people can react to differently, so not everyone responds exactly the same. Realize that the side effects you report are commonly reported across all beta-blockers(the class of medications of atenolol/Tenormin). Review this with your doctor, as you may be better served with another class of med.
