Family practice : Pain or sensation changes to your vagina and rectum can be from your back. It suggests you have a nerve root impingement from your herniated disk. You need to be evaluated.

Back: Yes this can be a result of a disc herniation. The sacral nerves travel through the l5-s1 disc level and when pinched can cause odd sensory symptoms. These usually improve with time. You should be evaluated by a spine physician. Most importantly if you have any bladder or bowel incontinence or retention or worsening weakness in you legs you should go to the emergency room without delay.
