Having pain in my sciatic nerve down to my foot from a herniated disc at L5 S1. I had two spinal injections and it has not completely resolved my pain in my low back or foot pain. Do I continue w/injections and how much time will it take?

I have a bulging disc at L5 S1 impacting the nerve. Lately Ive been feeling sharp, shooting pain in my right thigh posterolaterally when I move my legs. I believe the sciatic is located here. Could they be related?
Mri-t12-l1 l4-l5 l5-s1 disk protrusion no nerve impingement or spinal stenosis. Left low back buttock leg pain 3 wks. Foot cold tingling. Worse when sitting standing walking. 10 days steriod no help?
