Depression or ??: Those symptoms could certainly mean you have a depression and might need an antidepressant, but there are other medical problems with similar symptoms. You need an md to take your history and help you decide on the next best step.

You may be depressed: You do not necessarily have a certain type of depression, but may be suffering from depression and may benefit from medications and psychotherapy. Consult your pcp and/or make an appt with a psychiatrist for an evaluation.
