See eye doc: Twitching is typically from lack of sleep and stress and usually resolves in 4-6 weeks. If it progresses and you can't open your eye or more of face becomes involved then Botox can be used. If if progresses or fails to go away in a few weeks, you will need an mri.

Some suggestions...: Common reasons for an eyelid tic (myokymia) are stress, lack of sleep, alcohol, too many stimulants (e.g., coffee, tea, cola, energy drinks/pills) and something locally irritating the eye, like dryness or allergy. I suggest trying to modify the above factors, take a break from contact lenses if you use them, and use otc artificial tears or allergy drops. If this doesn't help, see your eye md.
