Size matters: Depends on the size of the infarction. If you had a heart attack and your echo is normal that means a) you are lucky and b) it may have been a small one.

Not necessarily: You had a heart attack at age 18? If the heart attack does not affect the whole wall then the wall motion can remain normal.
