Yes: The rate of progress in understanding and management of HIV disease has been incredibly rapid. They have not yet solved the issue of reservoir infections with the virus sitting inactively in certain cells from which the infection can recur when therapy is withdrawn. Nobody can predict when this will be solved, but suspect it will in next several years.
