No relationship: No relationship has been reported between keratoconus and the taking of ritalin, (methylphenidate) as far as i know.

No use sunscreen: Keratoconus is not related to Ritalin (methylphenidate) usage. Collagen, which makes up the structure of the cornea is defective, causing the cornea to become misshapen. The problem is thought to be present at birth and slowly forms over time. Medications are not known to accelerate or start the process. Taking Ritalin (methylphenidate) and being diagnosed with keratoconus is only coincident in time.
