ICP: There is no effect of altitude on intracranial pressure in patients with vps while climbing or flying and no effect with changing of position based on something called auto regulation. Similarly valves in shunts prevent fluid to go back into the cranial cavity. The only things that could affect the pressure are if the flow is to high (low pressure) of if the flow is too low (high pressure).
