If they were new : Shoes it is possible your feet needed to adjust to them. If you just put them on and started to run this could create fatigue and muscular pain. Once you recover, wear the shoes an hour while walking then increase the allotted time by doubling it.....Until you are walking for a full day, then you can try breaking in while running.
