rheumatologist/hema: Depending on the specifics of your clotting problem and your medical history you should probably avoid oral contraceptives (increased clotting risks), and taking precautions for venous blood clots (avoid immobility for long periods, frequent stops to move around on car and plane trips. Some women will be at risk for miscarriages. If clots, might need oral anticoagulants (warfarin).
