I just rec'd more bloodwork results. immunoglobulin g subclass is low & lymphocytes absolute is low, what does it mean?

Deoends: Having one low igg subclass does not mean you have a problem. See a board- certified allergist (take your lab) and they can help you.

I agree with Dr. Sublett. Many allergist/immunologists feel checking IgG subclasses is not very helpful. Total IgG is important and even more important is a person's response to immunizations, so checking titers to Tetanus, Diphtheria and pneumococcus. Lymphocyte count and it's subsets are important. A specialist can help determine clinical relevance.
