UTI: You need antibiotics. Symptoms will resolve soon. If they persist after your course of antibiotics see your doctor again.

UTI hurts: Urinary tract infections hurt. It hurst to pee, as if you have cuts "down there". It makes you want to pee more frequently & with great urgency. Bottom line, take antibiotics as prescribed. Do not save a few for next UTI as a "just in case" measure. Some people get temporary relief w/otc Azo type products to relieve burning but discuss w/your doc first before trying.
