Two answers: The germ that causes scarlet fever is easily killed by penicillin based drugs.Patients are not considered contagious 24 hours after starting appropriate treatment. Moth blisters resulting from any infectious process may take 7-10 days to appear healed.

24-48 hours: Typically it takes 24 hours until she is. Or contagious. She will still have symptoms. They will take longer to resolve.
