Why when i lay down one nostril gets no air intake unless i stand up or sit up straight its back to normal is this something normal ?

Not normal : But not serious either. You have rhinitis/inflamed lining of your nasal cavity. Apply Vicks vaporub on your nose or chew some cough drops- menthol in them opens up nasal passages. Ask your dr for some intranasal steroids.
