Why is it that when i lay down in bed only one of my nostrils gets stuffy? then when i sit up it goes away..

? Deviated septum: You have two nostrils. Between them is the nasal septum. If one nostril is bigger a little nasal swelling can block only the smaller one. A deviated nasal septum is likely the cause and doesn't need treatment unless it's a problem for you.
