Kidney problems: It depends on the kidney problem. For people with chronic kidney disease or who or on dialysis, cheese has alot of phosphorus and that can build up in the body. If someone is having stones or other bladder infections, cheese should not directly effect the kidneys.

Cheese and kidney: It depends on how serious your kidney problem is. Calcium is found naturally in cheese. It also has protein and phosphorus. Unfortunately, these same foods are very high in phosphorus and are not good choices for people with kidney disease who require a low phosphorus diet. You can probably eat cheese with no problems is you have stage 3 chronic kidney disease or higher. See your doctor for info.
