It depends, acute?: If chronic, long standing problem, it will not be correctable. But if acute i.e. New problem due to a dehydration or medication or bladder retention, it may be correctable.You need to know the name of the disease (diagnosis that caused kidneys to fail) from doc. If not correctable, needs dialysis. Transplant is doable unless has cancer, poor health, older than 75 but takes few yrs unless from family.
