First, when it comes to a complicated test like that, better leave it to a professional. Second, the pH depends on a lot of metabolic factors, but usually is slightly acidic ,like yours, but that's just a generalization. Trust your doctor

Urine pH 6 is normal: PH 6 is very mildly acid & almost certainly good. Phs of between 5 & * are normal. PH 5 is more acid & is most common pH. PH 7 is neutral, i.e. neither acidic nor alkaline & same pH as water. PH 8 is slightly alkaline, & in most cases normal. Thus U R not dying of kidney problems. Hope this puts a smile on your face!
