Reddish: Recent extractions result with a blot clot forming to stimulate bone regeneration. The area will be reddish due to the clot and will close over with time and light salt water rinses. Smoking and overly agressive rinsing may cause rejection of the clot, resulting in a painful dry socket.

Reddish pink/ white: Do you have any problems such as pain fever soreness swelling if the answer is no then you probably are healing well. Depending upon the extraction and your general health ...Your tissue could look somewhat whitish or reddish/pink.

Healing: By this point most or all of the soreness from the extractions should be gone. Tissues should appear salmon pink to slightly reddish. There should be no odor or bad taste. if you are unsure, see the Dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon to asses your healing. You also need to discuss with your Dentist how to go about replacing these teeth as soon as possible.
