Specializes in surgery

Yes: Chyle is the lymph and fatty liquid from lymph channels and glands . Removal of a kidney may disrupt some of these channels. Most heal or are ligated at surgery. If one or more continue to leak the fluid into the peritoneal cavity of the abdomen- that is chylous ascites. In the chest it is chylothorax.
