Bleeding gums while brushing? what if we never brush.. primitive humans never did. what happens though?

Think about this...: What did primitive humans eat? What do we modern humans eat? How long did primitive humans survive, compared to us now? How happy would we all be without any sense of cleanliness or hygiene (such as having no concept of toilet paper)? The dentist may do a deep cleaning and check for other causes of bleeding gums. A primary care doctor can do a check-up to look for other problems.

Tooth loss: Consider this: primitive humans had a very short life span, they ate what they could, but it was a diet that was basically raw, coarse and very gritty and had almost no simple sugars. Tooth loss for them was due more to wear or attrition than caries. We moderns eat a softer, refined and full of simple sugar diet. If we do not brush/floss well we will not retain teeth for our span (70+) years.
