Floss and brush!: Bleeding gums are often caused by tartar (food and germs) building up between teeth, where brushing alone can't reach. Brush with a soft brush, but make sure to also floss all your teeth gently to remove those bacteria. Dont' brush harder, clean more effectively.

See DDS: See the dentist and have a complete evaluation and radiographs to rule out any underlying periodontal disease. Follow the hygienist's recommendation for brushing and flossing and make more frequent hygiene appointments if suggested.
