May cause spasm: Tension myalgia can result from impaired muscle tension/spasm from stress and impaired postural mechanics. This can cause pressure on underlying nerves which can lead to tingling sensation in head and extremities.

No, but it can make : You feel that way with muscular symptoms about the neck and tingling sensation about the head and neck as well as into the arms/hands.
