My throat hurts so bad that i cry when i swollow for 4 days now . i can not eat and in so much pain i can't sleep. ready to go to er. what should i do

Eval.: Gargling with warm salt water sounds almost insultingly simple, but I have found no solutions that help my throat pain more. It is important to get a streph throat test. If you have a great deal of swelling you might even have a condition like mononucleosis. Although i can't diagnose you, sometimes if swelling is too severe a steroid may be necessary. Take care.
