Fasciitis: So, are the heels causing the legs to hurt? It's possible. The most common cause for your problem is an inflammation to a structure that attaches to the bottom of the heel; the plantar fascia. The inflammation is called plantar fasciitis. You should see a local podiatrist for help. Sincerely, Dr. Latva

Leg pain: Although plantar fasciitis certainly can cause heel and foot pain, it should not be causing pain in the legs. Some other common causes to consider are spinal stenosis and electrolyte disturbance such as hypokalemia which may be secondary to many common medications.
