Recent blood results came back that were confusing to me. My WBC is 2.5, rbc 2.9, hgb 11.3, platelets 111. But then it also has ovalocytes 1+, macrocytes 2+, dacryocyte 1+, myelocytes 1%, and occasional smudge cells. What does this mean?
CBP, ESR, Serum Iron, TIBC and identified RBC Morphology : Microcytic- Hypochromic smear seen, Anisocytosis-Poikilocytosis. what test covers etiology?
My test result show Rbc:Microcytic hypochromic anemia with tear drop and pencil poikilocytes there is any problem?
My past 2 blood work were microcytic hypochromic,but with good normal hgb and hct and wbc. High rbc . Neither the Er dr or my primary dr were concern or suggest any more follow up. Should i test for thalassemia?
