Yes!: Google 10, 000 steps a day. There's a multitude of info out there regarding the benefits of walking. If you use a walking program for weight loss you must be up to 15, 000 steps a day. Get a pedometer!

Walking for exercise: Walking is fine for exercise and weight loss - low-impact, burns calories, and enjoyable. In combination with a proper nutrition plan, walking can help you lose weight. I recommend walking in the morning before you eat breakfast, if possible.
