Sir , please tell me what is the difference between aml & cml ?

Many: Acute myelogenous leukemia- deadly rapidly if not treated potentially curable with chemotherapy and stem cell transplant treatment may involve prolonged hospital stay with toxic chemotherapy chronic myelogenous leukemia- usually slowly developing over years. Not usually curable but treatable with simple drugs that are not as toxic can live for years without any treatment hits older age others.

AML is more severe: AML is an acute disease that causes bleeding and leads to infection almost immediately if not treated. CML can be present for years without the patient even knowing it. If untreated, CML can turn into aml. AML needs to be treatedin the hospital, CML can be treated with pills while the patient contnues to work, etc. AML is usually diagnosed because the patient is sick and is bleeding or has a fever.
