Deep depression: 15 years is a long time, and hopefully your medications are helping at least some. Hopefully also you're working with a psychiatrist, and are in talk therapy. Therapy can help you see things with other-than-depressed perceptions. Also, there are ways to augment the effectiveness of antidepressants -- plus additional treatments as well. Talk w/your doctor; i wish you healing and peace.

Need to talk,etc.,,,: Unless you have a specific health condition (other than depression) that you are treated for, the best thing you can do is talk about what is depressing you, to a doc./psychiatrist or your family and friends. If you aren't sure of the source of your depression, just talk about your day, and you might feel better. Just seeing and talking to your doctor is a great start. Best of luck.

Depression is: treatable. You may need medication optomized which can mean different medications, added medications or doseage chagnes. If you are not already in psychotherapy - strongly recommend that.
