Accessory navicular: You may have an extra bone there called an accessory navicular or an enlarged navicular bone. A tendon attaches to this area, and an insertional tendonitis may be causing the pain when you run. This is common in people with flat feet.

Ganglion: Sounds like a ganglion along the tendon.
