Possible, depends...: It is possible to get hiv-infected from a needle prick (used by hiv+ person). However, depends on the needle bore size. If it is a thicker needle, you are at higher risk as there is more blood present in the needle than a thinner needle. It also depends on how soon after the blood was drawn that the needle prick occurred. If the blood is entirely dry on the needle, the risk is extremely low.
