Tummy Tuck: A panniculectomy removes only lower abdominal skin and fat excess. If you have abdominal muscle laxity or skin laxity that involves the upper and mid-abdomen then you would look better with an abdominoplasty. Consult a board certified plastic surgeon to learn about your tummy options and whether it is advisable to have cosmetic surgery at the same time as your c-section.

Possible:Not Advised: I have heard that there are surgeons who are willing to perform this surgery and i understand the convenience but i would not advise this for several reasons relating to your altered physiologic status, hyperdydnamic state, increased vascularity, attentuated tissues, potential for comp, ications and risk for infection/contamination. I would advise waiting a minimum of 4-9 months if not nursing.
