Hard to Say: Everybody is different and how the body responds to surgery can be different. Likely if all the conservative care has been done (like PT/Chiro, Spine Injections, meds, etc) then surgery may be warranted. Lastly there is some correlation with better outcomes for surgery if the epidural injections gave even brief relief for a few days.
