What can be done for a continuous stomach pain brought on by stress?

Dr. Pamela Pappas answered

See your doctor: Please see your doctor to completely investigate any pain that is "continuous." review your dietary history, including any alcohol intake. Stomach ulcers and gastritis can cause pain, as well as many other things. You may need a simpler diet for awhile to let things settle down anatomically. If all checks out medically, you can work with a therapist on mind-body skills to reduce your stress.

See you physician: I agree with dr pappas but one also needs a full work up including a pelvic exam to make sure the pain is just from stress and you do not have another disease as well e.g. Endometriosis, bladder infection, or ovarian cyst.
