Avoid fatty foods: This is generally called pancreatitis. It implies that the digestive juices produced from the pancreas are "stuck" inside the gland and those digestive juices are irritating the inside of the pancreas, and the surrounding tissue. Stop eating all fatty foods until the pain subsides. Keep drinking plenty of fluids though. If the pain is terrible, then seek medical attention.
